9 Years Strong — The Seafood Place Celebrates a Milestone

Nine years. That's how long The Seafood Place has been serving Tullahoma, and honestly, it still feels like we just got started.

How It All Began

Back in 2017, the idea was simple — there was nowhere in Tullahoma to get real, fresh Gulf seafood. Not the frozen stuff that sits in a grocery store case for a week. Real fish, off the boats, driven up from the Gulf Coast the same day.

So we started making the drive. Every week, down to the coast, hand-picking the best of what came off the boats, and bringing it back to middle Tennessee. Eight years later, we're still making that same drive.

What 9 Years Means

It means over 450 trips to the Gulf Coast. It means thousands of pounds of shrimp, snapper, grouper, and crab that came through our doors. It means a community that showed up for us — and keeps showing up.

We've watched kids grow up eating our crab cakes. We've catered weddings, graduations, and family reunions. We've had people drive from Nashville, Huntsville, and Chattanooga just to eat here. That never gets old.
