Shrimp Boil Season Is Here

The weather is warming up, and that means one thing at The Seafood Place — shrimp boil season is officially here.

What's a Shrimp Boil?

If you're not from the Gulf Coast, here's the deal: a shrimp boil is the ultimate casual gathering food. Big pot of seasoned water, throw in potatoes, corn, sausage, and a mountain of shrimp. Dump it all out on butcher paper on a table. Everyone digs in with their hands. No plates needed.

It's messy, it's loud, it's the best way to feed a crowd on a warm evening.

We'll Set You Up

Come into the market and we'll put together everything you need:

Gulf Shrimp — Head-on for the best flavor in a boil. We recommend 1 pound per person. $14/lb.

Andouille Sausage — Sliced and ready to go. Adds that smoky, spicy kick.

Corn and Potatoes — We keep small red potatoes and fresh corn in stock during boil season.

Seasoning — Old Bay, Zatarain's, or our house blend. We'll hook you up.

Boil Packages

Don't want to think about it? We offer boil packages for 4, 8, or 12 people. Everything portioned and bagged, ready to drop in the pot. Call ahead to order: (931) 732-3663.

Or just come eat ours — we run shrimp boil specials in the restaurant every Friday and Saturday through the summer.
